Service Call Fee
Our service call fee is $70. This fee covers the inspection and diagnosis of your appliance, providing a clear understanding of the issue and the necessary steps for repair. If you choose to proceed with the recommended repair, the service call fee will be waived, meaning you’ll only pay for the parts and labor involved.
The customer requesting the service, whether the property owner, landlord, or authorized representative, is responsible for paying the service call fee. By booking an appointment online, via phone, email, forms, or any other service that allows booking with Stellar Appliance Repair, you acknowledge and agree to pay the service call fee upon completion of the diagnostic. However, due to our landlord policy, some landlords might be asked to pay the service call fee in advance before the completion of the diagnostic. The fee will be waived if you approve the recommended repair.
Please be aware that the "Book Online" discount, which offers a $20 savings on labor, is applicable only to the labor costs associated with approved repairs, installations, or maintenance services. It cannot be applied to the service call fee.

Landlord Policy
For landlords requesting diagnostics or repairs on behalf of tenants or rental properties, Stellar Appliance Repair may require the service call fee to be paid in advance. This policy is in place because such transactions are treated as business-to-business (B2B) rather than business-to-customer (B2C) relationships. Prepayment ensures a commitment to the service and covers the diagnostic, regardless of whether the tenant approves the repair.
However, if the landlord is personally present during the diagnostic appointment, they may not be required to pay the service call fee in advance. This exception is designed to foster trust and facilitate communication between the landlord, tenant, and technician, ensuring that all parties are on the same page regarding the condition of the appliance and the proposed solutions.
Additionally, if a property management company schedules the appointment, they will not be required to pay the service call fee in advance. Instead, the fee will be charged upon completion of the diagnostic, similar to our standard process for individual customers. This approach allows property management companies to efficiently manage repairs for multiple properties without the need for upfront payments.
This upfront payment policy helps to protect both parties by ensuring that our time and resources are allocated appropriately, while providing landlords and property management companies with a reliable, professional service they can trust. Should the recommended repair be accepted, the service call fee will still be waived, and the upfront payment will be applied to the final repair costs.
Legal Notice
By scheduling a service with Stellar Appliance Repair, whether online, by phone, email, or through any other booking service, you agree to our terms and conditions, including the service call fee policy. The service call fee applies to the diagnostic service, regardless of whether or not the repair is completed. After the diagnostic, the technician will provide you with an estimate for necessary repairs or other appropriate services. This estimate may not apply if the appliance cannot be repaired, maintained, or installed due to other factors beyond our control.
Please note that customers are responsible for ensuring that appliances are accessible and in safe condition for servicing. Stellar Appliance Repair will not be liable for any damages or losses resulting from unsafe conditions or failure to provide access to the appliance.
Diagnostic recommendations are based on the technician’s expert assessment and do not guarantee future appliance performance. No warranties are implied or offered unless specifically stated in writing. Stellar Appliance Repair reserves the right to modify this policy at any time, and additional charges may apply for services outside the scope of the initial diagnosis.
