Our service call fee is $70. This fee covers the inspection and diagnosis of your appliance, providing a clear understanding of the issue and the necessary steps for repair. If you choose to proceed with the recommended repair, the service call fee will be waived, meaning you’ll only pay for the parts and labor involved.
The customer requesting the service, whether the property owner, landlord, or authorized representative, is responsible for paying the service call fee. By booking an appointment online, via phone, email, forms, or any other service that allows booking with Stellar Appliance Repair, you acknowledge and agree to pay the service call fee upon completion of the diagnostic. However, due to our landlord policy, some landlords might be asked to pay the service call fee in advance before the completion of the diagnostic. The fee will be waived if you approve the recommended repair.
Please be aware that the "Book Online" discount, which offers a $20 savings on labor, is applicable only to the labor costs associated with approved repairs, installations, or maintenance services. It cannot be applied to the service call fee.

Policy for Landlords and Property Management Companies
For landlords requesting diagnostics or repairs on behalf of tenants or rental properties, Stellar Appliance Repair (also referred to as "the company") may require the service call fee to be paid in advance. This policy is implemented because such transactions are considered business-to-business (B2B) rather than business-to-consumer (B2C) relationships. Prepayment ensures a commitment to the service and covers the diagnostic, regardless of whether the landlord decides to approve the repair.
However, if the landlord is physically present during the diagnostic appointment, they may not be required to pay the service call fee in advance. This exception is intended to promote transparency, trust, and clear communication between the landlord, tenant, and the company, ensuring that all parties are aligned regarding the condition of the appliance and the proposed solutions.
For property management companies scheduling the appointment, the service call fee will not be required upfront. Instead, the fee will be billed upon completion of the diagnostic, in line with our standard procedure for individual customers. This process allows property management companies to efficiently manage repairs for multiple properties without the burden of upfront payments.
This upfront payment policy is designed to protect both parties by ensuring our time and resources are allocated appropriately, while also providing landlords and property management companies with a reliable and professional service. Should the recommended repair be accepted, the service call fee will be waived, and the prepayment will be credited toward the final repair cost.

By scheduling a service with Stellar Appliance Repair, whether online, by phone, email, or through any other booking service, you agree to our terms and conditions, including the service call fee policy.
The service call fee is $70.00 and applies to the diagnostic service, regardless of whether or not the repair is completed. This fee is non-refundable, except in cases where the technician is unable to provide a diagnosis or repair estimate due to lack of access or appliance condition. If additional services or repairs are needed beyond the initial diagnostic, we will provide you with a revised estimate and no work will be performed without your prior approval. The final cost of services may vary depending on the scope of repairs required.
After the diagnostic, the technician will provide you with an estimate for necessary repairs or other appropriate services. Please note that the estimate is based on visible issues at the time of service and may not apply if the appliance cannot be repaired, maintained, or installed due to factors beyond our control, such as parts availability or unforeseen defects.
Modification of Policy
Stellar Appliance Repair reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. It is customer's responsibility to review these terms for updates.
